Violin
Let me add some live music to your project!
I play the violin in musicals for professional and amateur companies in the Yorkshire area. I also regularly supply violin samples and solos to all sort of projects, and work with loops and effects pedals.

Quotes
“Alice is a hugely versatile violinist who is equally comfortable with many genres of music – from country, rock, pop to musical theatre. Her superb intonation, feel and interpretation make her an asset in both small pit bands and larger string sections”.
Jim Lunt, Musical Director
“I have worked with Alice for many years, booking her as a freelance violinist for gigs up and down the country. She is a huge asset to any violin section, always has a smile on her face and can get round any piece of music that’s put in front of her! I would recommend Alice to anyone – she is a fantastic musician”.
Katie Jarvis, Viola player and Orchestral Fixer
Experience
I started the violin at the age of seven and went on to join the National Children’s and National Youth Orchestras of Great Britain. I gained performers’ diplomas from the London College of Music (ALCM), and the Royal Academy of Music (LRAM), and then went on to read music at King’s College, Cambridge, whilst studying violin with Béla Dekany, leader of the BBC Symphony Orchestra in London.
I have played in many classical ensembles throughout my life, but these days I mainly play for musicals, community projects, or in bands. I also play the flute and ukulele, and can pick up most things if needed! I’m currently touring a children’s show for 3 – 7 year olds where I play seven instruments, including the kazoo.
